Glendale Union Online: At-Home Students

Glendale Union Online at-home students complete most coursework remotely. In-person attendance is required for state assessments, final exams, and academic intervention sessions when additional support is needed. These in-person opportunities provide the structure, accountability, and targeted support that help students succeed. Arrangements for proctored final exams will be made for students who reside outside the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area.

Students are required to work 10 hours per week per class or a minimum of 30 hours per week. Attendance is determined by logging into the online system as well as a parent/guardian submitting a weekly time tracker through ParentVUE. See the attached PDF for directions on how to track time.

Any at-home student who does not log in for more than two weeks may be withdrawn. Guardians must submit attendance verification. Failure to do so for two weeks or more will result in the student being withdrawn.
