All Online Learning Academy on-site students are required to attend school in person five days a week, Monday through Friday. Morning sessions are held from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and afternoon sessions are held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Online Learning Academy is a closed campus.

Students typically focus on 2–3 courses at a time, allowing them to stay engaged and complete each course in approximately 4–6 weeks, depending on course content. Teachers provide instruction, monitor progress, and support students throughout each course. Students also have access to coursework from home, allowing them to accelerate course completion and earn credits.

Any absence from school should be reported to the attendance office at 623-435-7337.  Please refer to the “Student Attendance and Absences and/or Tardies” procedures located in the GUHSD Student/Parent Handbook and note that a student who reaches his or her 13th absence and/or tardy may lose credit.
